Keeping Our Chemicals Safe and Our Water Clean

Water is one of the most valuable resources in the entire world. Many parts of the world have access to clean drinking water while there are still many areas of the world where water sources are very scarce. The global demand for water is expected to reach 6,300 cubic kilometers in 2030, up from 4,500 in 2010.

With the high demand for water, it is extremely important that new technologies are finding ways to provide not just water to these unfortunate areas, but clean water. It’s estimated that over 90% of the global population currently has access to water sources that are improved, but there is still much work to be done.

The exports from the water technology industry are worth nearly $2.7 billion. Having more Waste Water (chemical) pumps that can transfer fluids properly is extremely important. Clean water can help change the world from the struggling countries that have limited water access, to the more developed countries with large demands on their water systems.

Chemical drum pumps that transfer liquid from barrels, tanks, and intermediate bulk containers help keep the environment secure as well as provide an added degree of safety for the operator.  Chemical spills can injury operators as well as damage the environment. Being able to safely and properly transfer treated water, chemicals, and other liquids should not be underestimated. The health dangers, economic dangers, and environmental dangers could be detrimental to our world if we didn’t properly manage these liquids.  Thankfully, technology has increased safety for both operators and the environment.
